Meet Our Team
Vickie Nordquist
EA, Owner of Nordquist Tax & Business Services
Vickie has a BS Accounting Degree, from University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Business Management; and is an Enrolled Agent (EA) for the IRS. She has 30 years of experience in small business accounting and corporate taxes. She has vast experience in start-up company support to include: accounts payable, accounts receivables, human resources, payroll, 401K plans, health plans, etc. As the owner of Nordquist Tax & Business services, Vickie oversees all executive functions of her company, which includes: 3 tax-preparers, a bookkeeper, and an office manager. Nordquist Tax has over 1,000 clients and growing.
Cindy Fermanich
Enrolled Agent
Cindy Fermanich is an Enrolled Agent with the IRS and has been preparing taxes since 1992. She loves helping people make tax preparation easier. She began working for HR Block when her children were young and her husband was home to be with them. She has also worked at a CPA firm west of Chaska and has been with Nordquist Tax since 2019. She has a finance degree from the University of Wisconsin La Crosse. She also currently works as a part-time accountant for Gianna Homes that has memory-loss assisted living homes in Minnetonka and Plymouth.
Cindy grew up on a dairy farm in Wisconsin with five siblings. She goes back often to the farm to visit family in the area. She and her husband have two daughters and a son. Their daughters are both married. They have two granddaughters who live 10 minutes from their home and also have two grandsons who live in Hudson, Wisconsin. Their son lives nearby in the northern suburbs. Cindy and Ken love spending time babysitting their grandchildren or just getting together as a family and believe that grandchildren are the best thing ever.
In Cindy’s spare time she loves taking walks with their dog Chester and if she gets a chance, she loves to knit.
Sarah Meyer
Sarah Meyer has been with Nordquist Tax and Business Services since 2016 as a full-time tax preparer until a she took on a full-time job with Hunt Electric and now does tax preparation a couple of evenings a week and Saturdays. On Saturdays she brings her seven-pound part Chihuahua, part Chinese Crested Powderpuff dog, Payton, for all of the clients lucky enough to come on Saturday a
lot of enjoyment. His serene countenance helps calms down some possible nervous tax worries.
When Sarah isn’t busy working two crazy jobs, she enjoys staying busy with her husband, John, three dogs and four cats. There is always home remodeling to do, gardening to attend to, or you can likely find her in her ‘hobby room’ which could be hosting a litter of foster kittens for the Carver Scott Humane Society.
Linda Phillips
Linda Phillips has been with Nordquist Tax and Business Services since 2020 and serves as Office Manager, working directly with clients, supporting the tax accountants through scheduling and overseeing the daily operations during tax season.
Born in Memphis, Tennessee and growing up in Kansas City, Missouri, Linda is a former All-American cheerleader at Northwest Missouri State University. She loves staying active by running, swimming, biking and following the Kansas City Chiefs in her spare time.
Linda and her husband, Chan, have six children, and her favorite times are those spent with her family and four new grandchildren.
